Born and raised in the Adirondacks, my passion for photography was sparked as a teen on the shores of northern Lake George and Lake Champlain. The insatiable appetite formed in the photo darkrooms at Clinton Community College which slingshot me into a life fully immersed in photography at the School of Photographic Arts at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The west coast poached me away from upstate New York's beauty to work on world renowned photo editing software before graduation even commenced, but I returned to walk that stage (BFA) and continued returning to the Adirondacks every year thereafter. The calming nature of upstate NY called me back home amidst the chaos of the early days of the pandemic. I fell in love with living here year-round, and now I am here to stay.
(Don't get me wrong...I still romanticize the San Diego sun when my toes are painfully numb, my skin is a mosquito buffet, and I've fallen in poison ivy for the third day in a row. But I have coffee flavored ice-cream to make those nuisances fade away!)
My wedding photography career began in 2006. I have had the honor of capturing couples' special moments across the US and even as far away as the Caribbean and Australia.
